Stuck at level 40

The maximum level in the game is 40 so u cant level up anymore

You're not supposed to lose emblems when you level up. Could be a bug but it's not going to be fixed for obvious reasons.

 

Just today I got a bug where I couldn't scroll down the right row of items under 'armor'. I wanted to get the Stirring Soul of Dragons like I wanted. It probably made me suffer late game and made us lose.

 

Yes after u hit max, the emblem you earned after a game decreased significantly.
